Review:

**I was sent Come This Way by Michelle Schliner in return for an honest review. All thoughts are those of my own.**

So where do I start?

Again, this book isn't one I'd typically go for, but again I can say I really loved it.

I'll start with the story of Fern and her daughter, Colby. This story focusing on their struggling relationship. After a hiking trip goes wrong the two are left in one another’s company. I really enjoyed this story and how their relationship was worked upon during their time in the forest.

Kara's story was perhaps my favourite. She grew as a character as the illness of her sister took toll- allowing herself enjoyment and love. She turned from a shut-in girl to a strong-minded one. I do wish her relationship had been more of a focus- but its definitely a story arc I'd love to read more about.

Nettie is a feisty old woman dealing with the loss of her husband, who was a particular joy to read about. Her witty nature and determination makes her a loveable character.

The story is well written and structured. Each personal story intertwines with one another in the end, despite at the beginning not knowing one another. All the stories flow extremely well into one another.

The stories all have the focus of love/loss, how everyone reacts differently and how everyone learns to cope in their own ways, you could truly feel the emotions within the writing as each chapter of the characters life’s went on.

It tells the story of ordinary women, each trying to build relationships and hold onto their love despite any struggles they face. Showing that in the end, everything works out okay.

I know many who would enjoy this book and I'm sure many of you will also.
