She is a miracle of science.

But as Abbie pieces together memories of her marriage, she begins questioning her husband's motives--and his version of events. Can she trust him when he says he wants them to be together forever? And what really happened to her half a decade ago?

Beware the man who calls you . . . the perfect wife.

Review:

**Thanks to the publisher for sending me a

This is the second book from J.P Delaney that I have read and loved. You can check out my review of Believe Me here.

This book is another fantastic thriller. It begins with Abbie awaken in a daze with no memories and a man who claims to be her husband. He claims she is a miracle of science and that she was brought back due to a technological breakthrough. However, Abbie soon realises that not everything is as it seems and her husband might not actually be who he says he is.

Abbie went through a lot as person. She woke confused and seeked comfort in the man who said he was her husband. Of course, as time progresses, she soon realises that not everything she has been told is true. Abbie's story was told through flashbacks to her past-self and then back to her present-self. The flashbacks really helped piece together the story and unraveled the truth of Abbie's past.

All of the characters in this book were unpredictable and truly believable. I felt like I couldn't trust any of them.

Abbie's husband, Tim, is a huge titan for the tech industry in Silicon Valley. He tells Abbie everything someone might want to hear; that she is happily married, is a gifted artist and that she is a loving mother to their son. He does what he believes is right for his family by putting money into researching autism so that he can help his son in any way he can. I couldn't help but admire this part of him; his dedication to his family was admirable. Of course, he also came across as possessive. He bought Abbie a multi-millionaire beach home for an engagement present and as perfect as their family seems, I couldn't help but feel that something was off.

The story switches from Abbie's point of view and another unknown perspective. Both perspectives were written fantastically. I particularly loved the mystery behind the unknown perspective and the extra suspense it added to the storyline.

The sci-fi elements of this book were really interesting. Abbie having being 'brought back to life' by technology and seeing her husband older than she remembers was really fascinating. It was a unique take on a thriller and isn't something that I have come across before.

There were many twists and turns that I never saw coming. This is easily one of my favourite thrillers that I have read this year. I loved the first book by J.P Delaney I read, and I loved this one even more.
