BOOKMAS 2019: Day Six, Handmade Christmas Decoration

Welcome to day six of Bookmas 2019!

Today is the last post before Christmas,
but there will be another six posts everyday
starting from the 27th!

Today's post is another
Christmas craft, so let's get
started...

What you'll need:

- Shrink Sheets (I picked mine up at my local
dollar store)

- Permanent Markers

- Scissors

- Craft Wire OR String

Method:

- Print out a variety of shapes and patterns that you'd like to turn
into a decoration.

- Trace the shapes onto the shrink sheet
using permanent markers.

- After tracing the shape, use a hole puncher
to cut a hole into the top of the shape.

- Bake in the oven at 338F for 10 seconds.

- Remove from the oven and let cool.

- Cut craft wire OR string to a
desired length and attach to the decoration.

This decoration is a simple one, but one I think is great to do during the holidays.

It's fairly easy to do and I can see it being a perfect craft for children to do. They could even turn their own drawings into a decoration as well as trace their favourites.

I decided to make decorations inspired by Harry Potter such as the castle and deathly hallows symbol. Of course I also created some classic Christmas decorations such as an ornate Christmas tree and holly.

That's it for today's post!

I hope everyone has a wonderful
Christmas!

Be sure back to check back on the 27th for another
6 posts up until the New Year!
